Learning from West

This photo may seems that small gathering of United States high profile personalities in white house including president Barrack Obama and the vice president Joe Biden.

But the other two gentlemen seen in this photo are ordinary citizens of United States. They are James Crowley and Henry Louis Gates Jr, the first one is the Sargent and the later is the professor of Harvard University.

In July 16, Gates was arrested after trying to break and open the door of his house upon his return from an overseas trip. This is due to the loss of his home key. But Sergent James Crowley , who is on duty wrongly assumed that Gates involved in the burglary of the house. Without proper inquiry, he arrested gates who belongs to the afro american community, and makes the racial remarks about gates. This racism row has rocked the america last week and evoked many criticisms. The charges of the Gates are dropped and the Sargent is suspended. This incident affected the social harmony.

In July 30, Barrack Obama calls both the professor and the Sargent to the white house. In this meet James Crowley makes the apology and have friendly discussion with the professor. The harmony of the races are protected by the timely and healthier efforts taken by the President Obama.

Our Indian politicians needs to learn this from the West. We have seen in many occasions that the politicians of our country acted in a stupid and selfish manner which not solved the problems in religious, caste, community riots but also fuels to the fire.

We have seen this thing in the religious riots of Gujarath, Maharastra, Orissa and other northern indian places also. We have seen this thing in the community problems of southern parts of Tamilnadu. If the politician are taken corrective measures in the initial stages of riots, the riots can be solved easily. But for the sake of vote algorithms they fuels to the riots.

So we the people of India, no longer we point our fingers to the evil politicians. Its our responsibility to eliminate those from the society and makes our country, a harmonious society.
